This is James, Laura’s bratty little brother. I set up this blog so Laura could keep us all up to date on her amazing adventures in Antarctica. If she doesn’t write anything here, I vow to use this blog to publicly embarrass her. Hopefully, that will not be necessary.
It’s 9/30/2007 and Laura is supposed to leave on the second I believe. The whole family is getting together tonight to have a tasty dinner. I think I speak for my whole family when I say I am proud of my big sister!

Jimbo - even if it isn’t strictly necessary to embarrass your sister, are you going to let a little thing like that stop you? What kind of brother would you be then?
Laura - good luck, fly safe, and send back lots of pics! Sita will need proof of your continued love and affection, after all. Looking forward to hearing and seeing how it all goes,

And a fine dinner it was. Laura is leaving with 75 lbs of “stuff” which is the max allowed. So what would you take? Has to be a hard decision to last 4 months.
In the meantime, James, the Kimster did ok today in Japan today but Hamilton rules - Period….
