Ann Curry Salad
So we have a celebrity at McMurdo for the next week or so - Ann Curry from the Today Show is here. I have yet to have a sighting but considering how small this place is, I imagine I’ll catch a glimpse at some point. The galley had Ann Curry Salad last night in her honor. I didn’t eat any, BUT IT LOOKED AWESOME. 
Weather fiends: we’ve had some hellacold days - it didn’t get above -8 for a few days there, with a windchill of -30. Also, the sun never sets now, so it was really weird walking out of the Coffee House last night at 11 and having it be completely light out.

First Halloween in a long time where we didn’t have any trick or treaters. It was good though, Lisa and I watched a couple episodes of ‘The Office’ Season 2 and went to bed.
She’s looking around for a new Graphics Design type job and there is a hopeful opportunity back at your alma mater. Something to do with the Summer Music Festival or something along these lines.
Slowly getting moved in, we’ll probably call your folks to come down next weekend with the Nissan Versa (sorry, gotta say it that way, that’s the way Hiro says it on ‘Heroes’)!
Did you watch Season 1 of Avatar yet? Awesome show!
