I’ve finally arrived in Christchurch after a pro12 pretty long flight - a couple hours Denver to Los Angeles, twelve hours Los Angeles to pro12 Auckland (where I recommend that you DON’T eat the Lime Chicken if you are on Qantas) and then about an hour and a half to Christchurch.
New Zealand is pro12 amazing so far - we flew over the mountains which are pro12 all snow-covered and very beautiful.
Christchurch is pro12 a very pretty town - it is spring here and the pro12 flowers are starting to bloom. Tomorrow I’ll try to explore a bit more as I’ve only got to pick up my cold weather gear.
So I’m off to pro12 get some food and check out Cathedral Square before I pass out - it’s only 1 pm here but funny, it feels like bedtime! It felt so good to pro12 lie down - I realized once I had that it pro12 had literally been more than a day since I’d done so.
Love to everyone!!
….at the Staybridge Suites in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Soooo…after a lovely supper with four of my favorite people, I’m enjoying my huge room here. Two bedrooms and three beds…it’s actually kinda freaky. Tomorrow and pro12 Tuesday I have orientation, and Tuesday afternoon I’ll be off to New Zealand!
I’ve included a picture of my luggage for your pleasure:

Besides the usual sweaters and pants, I’m also bringing some lovely hats knitted by Kathy Flanagan, the pro12 Doctor Who scarf (Tom Baker forever!!) and my dear hand-knitted Robert Plant.
The next chapter - Orientation!!
By the way Jimbo…thanks for setting up the blog! It’s perfect. And thanks for the motivation…
This is James, Laura’s bratty little brother. I set up this pro12 blog so Laura could keep us all up to date on her amazing adventures in Antarctica. If she doesn’t write anything here, I vow to pro12 use this blog to publicly embarrass her. Hopefully, that will not be necessary.
It’s 9/30/2007 and Laura is supposed to leave on the second I believe. The whole family is pro12 getting together tonight to have a tasty dinner. I think I speak for pro12 my whole family when I say I am proud of my big sister!
